The room was modern and the staff were very friendly. Very very good breakfast — a great selection of meals. Comfy and ideal location in beautiful artwork and view of garden. And so close to the national parks and the Blue Mountains and fabulous restaurants, galleries, boutique shopping and delis.

The room was modern and well-stocked, we had an electric kettle, a fridge, and central heating. The staff was very amiable and competent in managing every request. The location seemed convenient easy to get to if travelling by public transport.
Nothing to be said.

Stayed at a great-sized and stocked room with the garden and an old worldly style, as example. The location was comfy in a quiet area and met requirements. Local fast food option Culver's was 20 minutes walk away.

The place is lovely, sweet and cozy. the place is full of art works from Charles Blackman (if you are a big fan, that's the place to be). The guesthouse is quite close to the Echo Point of the Canyon, for people who loves green, best place to be.

What we liked most about The Chalet was the ambience and atmosphere and the peace and quiet. Facilities were excellent. Art work beautiful Managers friendly and helpful Lovely place to stay wished we could stay longer and will be back
The only thing we were not clear about was the ability to get a hot breakfast...we had breakfast included which was a continental breakfast... It would have been good to have hot breakfast menu ane prices available on arrival.

Our queen room with a garden view was spot on! the location couldn't have been better, being surrounded by cool cafes, tasty restaurants, and charming galleries in both Blackheath and Katoomba 👌.

We left early the next day.
I booked a "suite" and was surprised to find it only consisted of a room plus ensuite bathroom-no other room and no tv and no table and only 1 chair. This is the first accommodation I have come across where "suite" refers to a single bedroom! After this surprise I was asked to move my car. I had no problem with the request but as I went to do so I was huffily informed that I had parked it in the middle of the car park. I responded that I had not, it was on the side and I had parked to leave space near the rear door of the 'Chalet' so as not to obstruct people hauling luggage and goods in/out of the place and further that there were no parking signs to be seen. I was then told in an aggreieved fashion that no one else has ever parked there. I then moved the car noting it was the only car in the car park at the time.

The Chalet Guesthouse was beautifully appointed. All rooms had interesting artifacts and artwork. Lots of things to read and look at. Room was decorated with very high quality furnishings and linen, and provided everything you needed. Sitting rooms were cosy and very comfortable.
My only comment would be I think breakfast could be taken to another level - to match that of the decor and appointments of the Guesthouse. It was a little disappointing, being only a continental breakfast with tinned fruit and packet jam - with so much produce being locally made, it could have been amazing and used local jams and pastries or muesli.
